A technology clinic on ‘Agri-based microenterprises’ was organised at ICAR-CPCRI, Kasaragod, in collaboration with the District Industry Centre, Kasaragod, during 6-7, March, 2024. Mr. Dilip K. Kainikkara, IAS, Assistant Collector, inaugurated the technology clinic. Dr. Murali Gopal, Head of the Division and the Director In charge, ICAR-CPCRI, delivered the presidential address. Mr. Sajith Kumar, General Manager, DIC, felicitated and briefed on the schemes under DIC. The topics of microenterprises on production and marketing of biofertilizers, Trichoderma, coconut-based value-added products including VCO, desiccated coconut, coconut chips, coconut ice cream, Kalparasa and its value-added products, and ABI facilities for entrepreneurs were elaborated on for the aspirants. Dr. K.B. Hebbar, Director of ICAR-CPCRI, chaired the valedictory session on 7th March 2024, and encouraged the participants to apply the skills to form microenterprises. Dr. Shameena Beegum and Dr. Daliyamol, scientists, coordinated the programme. Sixty participants benefited from the programme.
