Social Sciences Division formulates and undertakes research projects pertaining to various aspects of technology generation, transfer, utilization and impact in mandate crops; policy interventions in agriculture, and refinement of statistical methods in plantation crops research. The division has evolved newer strategies and approaches to cater the farmers, start-up entrepreneurs and policy-making bodies. Furthermore, societal outreach by delivering technologies at farmer's doorstep through Mera Gaon Mera Gaurav is well attempted.
