Pledge taking ceremony and cleanliness drive
To mark the Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti celebration, a Swachta Diwas, was celebrated at ICAR-CPCRI on 2nd October, 2023. Dr. K.B. Hebbar, Director, ICAR-CPCRI presided over the function. Dr. B. Augustine Jerard, Project Coordinator (Palms) and Chairman, Institute Swatch Bharat Mission Committee, welcomed the gathering. Swachata Pledge was taken by all the staff members of ICAR-CPCRI under the leadership of Dr. K.B. Hebbar, Director, ICAR-CPCRI. Dr. K. Samsudeen, Principal Scientist, delivered a speech on the idea and importance of the Swachh Bharat Mission and Swachata Hi Sewa. Followed by there was a sanitation drive undertaken near the Institute Canteen and Creche area. All the staff members actively participated in the activities.
