ICAR-KVK, CPCRI, Kasaragod conducted a field demonstration of “Motorized carbon fibre pole sprayer cum harvester” at Kubanoor Village, Mangalpady Panchayath on 3^rd July 2023 under the SCSP programme. Eight SC unemployed youth were identified from the region and imparted training on the operation and maintenance of the spraying equipment. The field demonstration was carried out in the arecanut garden of Shri. Ashok Kumar Holla, progressive farmer. Motorized carbon fibre pole sprayer cum harvester is provided to these selected Scheduled Caste unemployed youth on custom hiring basis in coordination with the Tulusiri FPO, Manajeshwar for generating self-employment. The programme was attended by 46 progressive farmers.
