As part of the technology transfer initiatives of ICAR-CPCRI to benefit the farming community and other stakeholders, a training programme on ‘Coconut production and value addition technologies’ was organised on 15^th June 2023 at CPCRI, Kasaragod.

Shri Inbasekar K. I.A.S., District Collector, Kasaragod inaugurated the training programme. In his inaugural address, Shri Inbasekar requested the farmers and entrepreneurs to make effective use of technologies for production and value addition in coconut from ICAR-CPCRI and other institutions to enhance their income.

Dr. K.B. Hebbar, Director,ICAR-CPCRI presided over the inaugural function. Dr.A.C.Mathew, Principal Scientist was felicitated during the function for his contributions to value addition by the District Collector.Shri Iqbal, Assistant District Mission Coordinator,Kudumbasree and Shri Sasikumar C, CEO, CRD Nileshwar offered felicitations.
