ICAR-CPCRI, RC, Kahikuchi celebrated 'World Intellectual Property Day' on the 26th of April, 2023. The programme was graced by Dr. K.B. Hebbar, Director, ICAR-CPCRI, Kasaragod and Dr. G. Kadirvel, Director, ATARI Zone-VI, Guwahati. The programme started with a welcome address by Dr. K. Muralidharan, HOD, Social Sciences Division, ICAR-CPCRI, Kasaragod followed by a talk on the theme “Women and IP: Accelerating Innovation and Creativity” by Dr. Alpana Das, Principal Scientist and SIC, ICAR-CPCRI, RC, Kahikuchi. On this occasion, a MoA for Enhancing adoption of scientific production and processing technologies of arecanut in NE' between ICAR - CPCRI & ICAR-ATARI Zone VI, Guwahati was also signed. The programme was attended by Dr. Vinayaka Hegde, HOD, Plant Protection Division, ICAR- CPCRI, Kasaragod, Dr. C. Thamban, Principal Scientist, Social Science Division, ICAR- CPCRI, Kasaragod, Dr. Dhiren Kalita, Programme Co-ordinator, KVK Kamrup, scientists and staff from ICAR-ATARI, Zone-VI, Guwahati, staff of ICAR-CPCRI, RC, Kahikuchi and technical officers from four district KVKs of Assam. The programme ended with a vote of thanks by Dr. Alpana Das.
