A press meet was conducted in ICAR-CPCRI, Research Centre, Kidu on 14.11.2022 in connection with Mega Kisan Mela and Agri Expo being held at Kidu from 19th to 23rd November, 2022. Reporters from several press agencies and TV networks attended the meeting, along with Shri Vishwanath Naduthottu, President of the Press Club Subramanya, and Shri Rathnakar, Secretary.

The press conference was presided over by Dr. K. B. Hebbar (Head, PB & PHT), chairman of the publicity committee. The Press Conference also included participation from Dr. Niral, V. (Principal Scientist), Dr. Thamban (Principal Scientist), Shri Diwakar Y. (Scientist In-charge, CPCRI, RC, Kidu), and Shri Manamohan, M. (Sr. Technical Officer and convener of the Publicity Committee). Dr. K.B. Hebbar gave a briefing on the Mega Kisan Mela and Agri Expo 2022 as well as the CPCRI and Golden Jubilee celebrations of CPCRI, RC, and Kidu.

Dr. Niral, V., informed the media in detail about the programme of events planned during the Mega Kisan Mela. Shri Diwakar, Y., provided detailed information about categories of stalls and facilities available.
