In commemoration of 8th International Yoga Day, a yoga session was organized at ICAR-CPCRI RC Kidu on 21 June, 2022 under the expert guidance of Master Sh. Vijesh Kumar, possessing 20 years of experience in Yoga training. At the outset Mr. Diwakar, Y., Scientist In-charge of the centre welcomed the Yoga master and briefly introduced about him to the participants. Later, the master educated all the participants about the history, benefits and importance of different asanas for every individual in their day-to-day life. With brief introduction to yoga, Master Sh. Vijesh Kumar, benefited all the permanent and scheme staff members of the centre to harness the benefits of yoga for better balance between body, soul and mind by performing various Asanas under his kind supervision. After a hour long yoga session the master appreciated all the participants for their interest and active involvement in performing the asanas and requested all the beneficiaries to continue the practice of yoga on daily basis for a better resilient life in the current changing environment.

Later on the edge of coanclusion, Sh Gopla Krishna A S (Technical Officer) conveyed vote of thanks to the Yoga Master Sh. Vijesh Kumar and all the participants for making the event successful.
