Along with the nation, ICAR Central Plantation Crops Research Institute, Regional Station, Kayamkulam celebrated the 73rd republic day on January 26, 2022 , adhering strictly to all Covid 19 protocols. The program started with flag hoisting by Dr. Abdul Haris, Principal Scientist followed by salutation to the national flag. Dr. Abdul Haris, addressed the gathering and reminded of the great history and valour of the nation in attaining progress and development as one of the greatest democracy of the world. He reiterated that serving the nation is by abiding to the duties with purpose and sincerity and maintaining scientific temper in activities which will lead to the progress of our farming communities and stakeholders. The staff members including scientists, administration, technical, supporting and family members of the staff participated in the celebration with patriotism and participated in the proud moment. The program concluded with national anthem and distribution of sweets.
